A Canadian who has spent the last decade training in Detroit out of her 14 year boxing career, Kara is an Undefeated Professional Boxer who obtained the W.I.B.A Intercontinental Lightweight Title and the W.I.B.A. World Title in 2005. In her amateur career Kara defeated the world light-weight champion to take home the National title. Through her pro career, Kara was invited to and attended several top notch training camps including -Lennox Lewis, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, Vernon Forrest, Paul Spadafora, and Lucia Rijker to name a few.
Kara has fought on and was a favourite on TSN, ESPN, FSN, and Telemundo. In her coaching debut she was an integral part in turning female boxer, Mary Spencer into a World Champion. Although invited to help coach the Canadian National Team Kara chose to focus on her career. Currently Kara coaches both boxers and MMA fighters, primarily men, but plans to have a kick a.. female squad coming in 2010 as she also intends to return to the ring (after a 2 year hiatus because of a serious back injury).
